After this is done, to start dowsing, you will have to press and hold up on the directional pad to bring up the menu. On the menu, you will find a variety of items that you can search for, including treasure, Hearts, Rupees, Gratitude Crystals, and more.
Once you have picked the item to search for, you can start dowsing. Use the right stick to look around, and watch out for the beeping sound indicating you are close to your target.
