To be honest, I don’t think I have what it takes to survive in the cruel world of Undawn on my own. The infected, other humans fighting for survival, volatile weather, wildlife… it’s just too much for one person to handle!
Still, that doesn’t mean I’m giving up on the game. For me, playing Undawn is all about camps and surviving with some buddies. If you’re just starting the game and don’t want to do everything alone, this guide will show you how to create, join, or leave a camp in Undawn with no trouble.
How to Create a Camp in Undawn
To create a camp in Undawn, you can try one of these two methods. First, you can hit the box icon in the top right corner, select Camp, and look to the right for the Create option.
Another way is to travel to Ravens Shelter and speak to Jason, the camp counselor, who will offer you the option to create your own camp.
From there on, you will need to fill out the details of your camp and post a recruitment notice since each camp needs to have at least six survivors. Recruitment duration will determine the cost of your camp, and if the recruitment fails, you will be refunded.
How to Join a Camp in Undawn
Joining a camp in Undawn is fairly easy. You can open the Camp menu and opt for the Apply tab instead of Create. You can search for an existing camp that suits you and send your application. The head of the camp will review your application and hopefully approve it unless you apply to one of the camps designated as For All.
How to Leave a Camp in Undawn
Not happy with your current camp? You can always leave it, and the process is fairly straightforward. Open the camp menu and go to the camp member list (the heads icon on the left side). At the bottom of the screen, you will find the Leave Camp option.
You can rejoin and leave one camp up to three times, and your past achievements with the same camp will be deleted if you decide to leave. If you’re ok with all the consequences, you can just hit the Confirm button.
