Getting Vivillon Forms

There’s currently no official method of getting other forms of Vivillion in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The majority of captured Vivillion is Fancy forms. But for right now, players can link their Pokémon Go accounts to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This gives players the chance to acquire Gimmighoul’s Roaming Form, which cannot be simply acquired in-game.
As the feature is set to expand in 2023, players have speculated that in order to get different forms for Vivillion, they’ll need to use postcards. This will allow different countries to catch different Vivillion forms. So by using postcards, players will be able to trade forms and even collect all the forms.
But again, this is merely a speculation and nothing is official yet. So do enjoy playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet before the might-be-happening changes to Vivillion forms do take place at some point in 2023.
