Has Genshin Impact Been Canceled on Nintendo Switch?

Thankfully, it seems like Genshin Impact hasn’t been canceled for Nintendo Switch, despite the long silence on this version of the game.

On May 5, 2022, GoNintendo reached out to developer miHoYo, asking about the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact. Xin Yang, Global PR Specialist at miHoYo, confirmed to the online publication that the Switch version is still in development and that more information will be shared in the future.

“The Switch version is still in development, and we will release more information as we progress further along.”

While the developer hasn’t revealed much, it is good to know that Genshin Impact on Nintendo Switch is still a thing. Hopefully, it won’t take much longer for Switch players to finally be able to enjoy one of the best games released in the past few years on their format of choice.
