Recruit mercenaries, power up your skills, and become the ultimate survivor with the help of our Grow Survivor cheats and tips!
Grow Survivor is a pretty addicting idle game, and you’ll be hooked on upgrading your base and collecting more guns. With tons of baddies to fight, there’s a lot to cover so let’s get started with our Grow Survivor cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Check your gun’s stats!
When you start unlocking new guns past the tenth gun, you’ll start to notice that they are no longer straight upgrades. That is to say that their damage may not be an upgrade from your previous gun, but instead the gun may offer other bonuses like faster fire rate, bigger clip, stat boosts, and so forth.
Be sure to check the stats whenever you receive a gun, so you can focus on that stats that you think are most important.
Don’t upgrade the zombies too much!
Whenever you upgrade a zombie, the amount of gold they drop and their item drop rates increase. However, their health goes up as well, and this can slow things down in the long run if you’re not balancing your upgrades.
Make sure that you can kill the new types of zombies in a timely manner, otherwise it may be more efficient (gold-wise, at least) to select a weaker zombie to farm. This goes for material drops as well!
Get some Skins!
Skins in Grow Survivor aren’t just for show – they actually boost your stats too! Every couple of hours you can watch an advertisement to receive a free 1-3 star skin. We recommend you do this as you’ll need all the firepower you can get. You can also purchase skins with gems and gold.
The higher rarity skins can boost stats like fire rate, clip size, reload time, gold and experience rate. These are all incredibly helpful, but even better is that you can equip your mercenaries with skins as well to boost their stats. Equip the best skin you have, then outfit your mercs with whatever else you have left.
Do the Occupation Battles!
Occupation Battles are fixed battles where you fight through a set of zombie waves. If you can clear all the waves, you’ll earn some materials plus a blueprint for a new weapon, provided it’s the first time you’re clearing the battle. Clearing Occupation Battles is important because it’s the only reliable way to get new weapons.
Even if you’ve cleared a battle before, you can replay it again to earn the generic paper material. Paper can be used to craft new blueprints, so it’s never a waste to do more Occupation Battles.
Just know that you need maps to enter a battle, and you cap out at 2. They regenerate every five minutes though, so it’s not that bad of a wait.
Charge up your skills before heading into an Exploration Battle!
If you’re going to do an Exploration battle, whether it’s a Occupation Battle, Base Defense, or Event, it’s best to charge up your skills before you enter. Your skills’ cooldowns are carried over, so if they’re available you can use them during the battle. Skills can really save you if you’re having trouble in a battle, so come prepared!
Skills charge up slowly over time, but they also charge every time you manually fire a shot. If you’re actively playing the game and tapping away at zombies, your skills will recharge much faster.
Salvage old weapons for Enhance Stones!
To power up your favorite guns, you’ll need Enhance Stones, rare materials that drop from Boss Raids and other tough Exploration Battles. You can also craft your own using gold and base Enhance Stones.
The easiest way to get them is to break down old weapons. Whenever you break down a weapon, you’ll get back Enhance Stones equal to the gun’s rarity. Do this often as you’ll need to upgrade your guns a lot to stay strong!
