Genshin Impact offers a massive array of usable weapons, from common world drops to featured prizes on limited-time gacha banners. Some relatively easily attainable weapons actually perform exceedingly well and some weapon banners are a lot less worthwhile than you’d expect, so arming your party can be a bit unintuitive at times.

This tier list should at least serve as a helpful starting place for making sure that your party has the best weapons available. One thing to note, though, is that these rankings assess weapons in the hands of the right characters.

Staff of Homa will perform on a lot better on an HP-scaling character like Hu Tao than on a more straightforward DPS like Xiao, for instance. Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, similarly, makes a lot more sense on a support character like Barbara than on a main DPS like Klee. One-star and two-star weapons are omitted as they are reliably very weak in all regards. With that in mind, here’s our weapon tier list for Genshin Impact.
