Galaga Revenge may be a new style mobile game, but it still focuses on the core shoot’em’up arcade mechanics, which means you are in for a challenge! Have no fear, as we are here with our Galaga Revenge cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Keep an eye on your ship core!

Remember, bullets cannot actually hurt you unless they chip that small little yellow core that is in the center of your ship. When the going gets tough and the screen gets covered in bullets, it is time to enter defensive mode! That means shift your eyes and stare solely at your ship core. While you are focused on your ship core, you can maneuver more carefully and dodge bullets easier.

Let power ups come to you!

When you destroy a wave of enemies, often times they will drop power ups for you. You need fire power ups as much as possible, but beware – new enemy ships will often fly in from the sides of the screen, towards the top.

If you try to go for power ups as soon as you clear a wave and they are still floating around the top of the screen, there is a good chance you run right into the new ships. It is better to just wait for the power ups to bounce their way towards the bottom of the screen.

Play Heroic for shards!

You will gather level up materials for your pilots as you progress through the story mode on normal difficulty. Upon completing level 10, you will gain access to Heroic Mode, which is basically the same story campaign but with tougher enemies. You can probably try heroic mode right away as your CP will be in the 800 levels.

Heroic Mode has even better loot than Normal Mode! You can find main and escort fighter shards, and even pilot shards! If you are looking to expand your roster, try playing through Heroic Mode once your CP is high enough.

Don’t forget your freebie gachas!

The Omamori Gacha is a permanent banner than lets you roll for free once every day. This banner can net you a variety things, from coins, crystals, all the way to pilot and ship shards.

The Coin Gacha is another permanent banner that also lets you roll free daily. This one however only has coins as a payout, but nonetheless is still really helpful. Be sure to roll on these banners every day!

Always have ships exploring!

It is important to note that when a ship is currently exploring, you can still use it to play through the campaign levels. When a ship comes back from exploring, it may bring back useful items, including crystals, Blitz Cards, and more. You have three open exploration slots to begin with, so try to get new ships as fast as possible to get more goodies!

Take down bosses fast!

If you can save both your full-screen nuke and merge specials until the end of the level, you can do some serious damage to the boss. First, use your nuke to instantly do some damage to the boss.

Next, activate your merge ability. When you are merged with your escort ships, you gain a shield that makes you invincible for a couple of seconds. Fly straight up to the boss and fire at point blank range for maximum damage. This method should really make a dent in the boss’ health, if not outright destroy them!
