Fortnite 6.01 Update Introduces New Trap, New Playground Options And More

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The sixth Fortnite season only began last week, and with it came a lot of new content and a new Battle Pass. Epic Games, apparently, never rests, as a new update has been released on all formats, including iOS and Android, introducing even more content.

The Fortnite 6.01 update’s main addition is a new trap called The Chiller. True to its name, the Chiller makes opponents slip and slide. The trap can also be used in many clever ways, so experimenting is key, like pretty much everything in Fortnite.

The Chiller is likely going to become a staple of the game thanks to its availability. Being a common trap, it should be easy to obtain at any point during a game.

The Fortnite 6.01 update also introduces some Playground options which allow players to customize their experience. Starting from now, players can change the time of day, gravity, health and more.

The latest Fortnite update may not be as big as the one released last week, but it still provides some new stuff to play with, and this definitely should make all fans of the game happy

Fortnite is now available on the App Store and Google Play Store. More information on the 6.01, including full update notes, can be found on the game’s official website.
