Flippy Race is that type of extremely frustrating games that you simply can’t put down, no matter how difficult they are. It is an insanely fun, fast paced game that you will simply fall in love with – no doubt about that! But is there a way to actually do better in this game and at least unlock all Flippy Race boats faster than the rest. We’ll handle all these in today’s article.

So let’s not waste a single second and instead let’s check out below the Flippy Race tips and tricks you were looking for!

Remember how many times you can flip
The most important thing in this game – and the name suggests that as well – is the fact that you have to flip as often and as much as possible in order to win the races. But it’s not easy!

If you try to flip more than you have time to, it will be game over. If you flip less, it’s also game over, so you always need to know the maximum number of flips you can do, and I am here to help.

Usually, if you’re at top speed, you will be able to flip twice when jumping off the waves and the taller wooden platforms, and just once if your speed is not fast enough or if you’re jumping off the smaller platforms. Depending on speed and platform height, you can even spin three times in a row!

So try to remember these and practice releasing your boat at the right moment in order to do the exact number of flips that you can do to keep on going.

Slow down (when hitting obstacles)
Hitting obstacles in Flippy Race (including other players) is not the end of the world. However, sometimes – and especially if your speed is too high – hitting an obstacle will flip you over and force you to restart the race.

There’s an easy fix for that, though: when a collision is unavoidable, simply lift your finger of the screen so that your boat slows down – and this way, it’s almost guaranteed that you won’t flip over and instead you will be allowed to continue racing!

Get that rubber ducky!
The Rubber Duck is by far the best ship in the game, simply because it never sinks. This means that you will be able to complete all tracks easily and without many headaches.

The downside? You must acquire it for real money, which is something not everybody wants to do. However, you will also get a chance every now and then to watch a video ad and play a round with the Rubber Ducky – make sure you take on that offer since it’s really the best bonus in the game!

How to unlock more boats
The process of unlocking new boats is pretty much straightforward – you need to have a specific amount of diamonds in order to afford unlocking a new boat. So the real question is: how to get more diamonds for free?

The easiest way to do so is to complete the daily missions each and every day. This will give you over 100 diamonds for free, which is a nice place to start at.

Also, you will sometimes see a chest on the track, when playing the game, with a question mark on it. Do whatever it takes to collect that track, even if you lose the game the next second. Usually, this chest holds premium currency – and what’s even better is the fact that you can watch an ad and double the amount received! This way, you will easily unlock all the boats in Flippy Race!

Upgrades with the coins
The coins you collect when playing are not as important, but they do help a bit. You can buy two different types of bonuses with them: either an increase in the value of the coins (meaning that each coin will actually be worth more) or an increase in the speed bonus that you get after landing a perfect flip.

I recommend going with the first option (cons bonus) early on in the game as it’s more of a long term investment, and only afterwards focus on the speed bonus. The latter, as nice as it sounds, does make a bit more difficult since new speeds mean new challenges for flipping (and eventually potential increases to the number of flips you can achieve when jumping off waves or platforms)

Learn the tracks, plain and simple!
Now, if you’re having a really difficult time crossing the finish line, there’s one easy thing for you to do: keep playing. Remember that each track will have the same obstacles and platforms in the same positions, so it’s just a matter of remembering where each of them is and controlling your boat in such a way that you will get past them without a problem.

This would be all that we have for you, right now, in terms of Flippy Race tips and tricks. Do you have any additional suggestions for fellow players looking for greater glory? If you do, don’t hesitate to share your comments below!
