Flip Lover Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide for Perfect Jumps

If your day went according to plan and all was good, with no unexpected events, you might want to open Flip Lover and change that. The little bugger stressed us close to our limits and so we decided to come up with a strategy plan. These Flip Lover tips and tricks we will share with you will hopefully drop your rage levels to be within normal limits and help you pass the tricky levels.

In Flip Lover, if you haven’t yet faceplanted (see below), it’s about time you do. If you haven’t fell on your butt after landing, it will happen. If your head is still on your shoulders, that’s because this game is keeping it together, ‘cuz if it happened IRL you wouldn’t be having such a blast laughing at the poor guy (ha-ha at you now!).

So, enough passive-aggressiveness about this game (yeah, it had its toll on me) and let us share our Flip Lover tips with you:

Collect stars

(unfortunately the green ones you see after falling don’t count)

In this game you will need a certain number of total stars to pass the stages and move on to the next one. As the levels get higher, so does the difficulty. They get progressively harder by each level, so always try to get 3 stars at the first levels within a stage. That will ensure you will have enough to pass on to the final one without trying for days to get 3 stars at the last level.

For example you are going to need a certain number of stars to unlock the Special Level, and only by passing the Special Level will you be eligible to move on to the next stage. Don’t worry too much about that level tho, because all you need to do to pass it is to land on your feet (no, it won’t count if they are behind your head and your arms are wrapped around them) and if possible try to do a flip.

Press and release

When you want to jump further away you need to keep your finger on the screen to charge, and when you release it you will be thrust further away. However, be wary of your surroundings because you might end up getting propelled head-first into the ground (trust me, I know).

The ideal thing is to think in pool terms (you’ve probably played pool, right?). You will think about the trajectory you’ll get once releasing, and that should help you aim for the perfect jump.

Keep trying

Practice makes perfect, right? Maybe. Sometimes all you will want to do is fake it ’till you make it. Jump, fail, jump, fail, faceplant, fail, try again, succeed. Who knows, maybe going in thinking “I’m not going to make it that easy, so at least I can have some fun” will help you actually achieve that difficult jump.

Sometimes I challenge myself to see which is the most unique fail I can pull and in the process I pass the level. Not to say that some levels will need dozens of practice jumps just to figure out what you need to land on your feet alone.

Easily tiltable? 

Take breaks. If you get angry by failing once, I don’t want to know what could happen if you fail a single jump 24 times (been there, done that). So try to keep a cool head and maybe take a break when you feel like you can’t do it anymore.

This game is not an easy one, but rather quite the difficult one. All you need is patience and a sense of fun because else it will be 10x more difficult to pass it.

Land on the diamonds

It’s not a must in order to pass the level, but it counts towards the stars you get. So if you want a perfect score, those diamonds will definitely help. But remember, just by picking a diamond it won’t make you 3 stars unless you’ve have your share of flips and correct lands.

Way too frustrating?

Some levels are just that. Simply skip them by watching an ad. I am sure that spending 30 seconds of your life by watching it will be more beneficial than getting angry for 15-20 minutes trying to figure out a jump.
