Fishdom is a watery spin on the classic match-3 formula. Match seaweed, seashells, starfish and more in this underwater adventure. The coins you earn from playing the levels can be used to buy decor and fish for your own lovely aquarium!

1. Match 4 to get the firecracker!
You should try to match at least four pieces whenever you get the chance. Doing so will result in a firecracker! How does a seashell and seaweed turn into fireworks, you ask? No idea!
Anyways, when firecrackers are matched or manually detonated, they’ll destroy all adjacent objects. Very useful, so try to get them when you can!
2. Match 5 for a bomb!
Bombs function exactly like firecrackers, but they cover a much larger radius. You get them by matching 5 pieces in a straight line, T, or L shape.
These are a bit trickier to get but working towards them is usually very worth it. They will also destroy golden tiles, which make them incredibly helpful for clearing out large chunks!
3. Remember that power ups can be manually detonated!
If you so wish, you don’t have to move the power ups you’ve created, like bombs are firecrackers.
If you double tap them, they will explode exactly where they are. This is useful in case you want something that will go out of reach should you move the power up in question.
4. Try for the bigger power ups!
There are even better power ups past the bomb and firecracker. If you manage to match 6 pieces, you’ll get the dynamite which covers even more ground than the bomb does! These pieces are extremely rare and without careful planning you may never get them.
5. Plan out your moves!
As with any other match-3 game, it’s best to plan out your moves before you commit to them. You have to time limit but you do have a move limit, so there is an incentive to use your moves wisely.
Try to make your matches so that pieces will fall into a place where they’re set up naturally for a big chain.
6. Keep buying things for your aquarium!
Every new fish or decor you buy for your aquarium will increase its beauty points by a certain amount. Once you reach enough beauty points, your aquarium will gain a star point and you’ll receive a coin bonus.
Keep buying things; there’s no point to save up! Just make sure not to buy any duplicates. Always keep buying decor or fish you don’t already have.
7. Feed your fish!
The fish you buy actually have hunger meters. Over time, they’ll get hungry of course! It’s your job to come back to the game and make sure they’re fed and happy.
If you keep them fed enough, they’ll occasionally drops coins for you to collect.

Do the fish get bigger?
No, the fish remain the same size. Specialty fish, like the Christmas themed fish, tend to be a bit bigger though.

I imagine the person is saying it’s a live sponge vs a dead sponge used for cleaning. Which of these is considered not real is beyond me. I think of them a both being real.
After dynamite, there’s a windmill or fan that destroys even more. I’ve gotten it 5 or 6 times.
Nickel and Dime you to death. And there are things that seem like trickery. For instance, sometimes when you finish a game it says “play on” and you think they mean start a new game, but if you have diamonds, it will continue the game you’re on and take your diamonds instead. It should be made clear whether you’re using your diamonds or not. I also think if you don’t buy anything, you get less time per game.
I have 7 tanks open and the first three have a lot of fish in Them? Why do they never need feeding or the tank cleaned. What’s up with that?
What does the symbol with the 2 different colored arrows directly below the hammer mean??
It means you can switch on item for another tap one and tap another and they switch places
You can use that to switch two pieces in the game
RaeRae- it’s a switching move. You can switch any two pieces on the game with each other and it helps create a match-up.
Naomi Taylor- Just because you don’t see that the fish need to be fed or the aquarium needs to be cleaned, doesn’t mean it never happens. It just takes a while.
Kathy- That’s ridiculous. First off, you can also see how many gems you have before going to the game.
Second, if you lose the game and have enough gems, you have the opportunity to get five more moves. Why do you think you were still playing?
Third- The gem option only comes up if you lost. If you tap “try again”, it starts a new game but only when you’re playing the game and lose will the gem option come up. If you run out, they basically let you by showing you options to buy more. It’s not “trickery” so you need to re-think.
Hanna, I’m with Kathy on the “trickery” (if you’re not careful). When rushing to start the next game – after a Failure – I have, several times, spent 9 diamonds for 5 moved (big price) when my intention was to “try again.” – expensive lesson. I am more careful now.

When you get free play time can you pause to save the unused time for later?
I sometimes do not have time to play at the time I open a chest and get hours of free play. I’d like to know if you can pause it once you claim the prize. It would be nice to be able to save it for when I have time to play.
There is no pausing but if you get free time, close the game before accepting the prize. Next time you open game it will automatically load the time
Is there any way to skip a round? I’m stuck on one (that is timed) and losing interest after 4 days of trying !

Same here – I signed up after seeing the preview, while playing solitaire, of the fish in the tube. Answer: it is one of several “mini games” you eventually get to choose to play. I Amon level 592 and have gotten to save the fish in the tube 3-4 times.
As for getting stuck at a level, just keep trying and don’t waste your boosts. The game will eventually get tired of you failing and let you win with lots and lots of big bombs. =).
How do you earn Mini games. I got a few in the beginning and then they just stopped offering them?

Hi, check the bottom message carefully when it says you’ve won the game. Next to that message will be one that says would you like to play the mini game? Click on that message and you will get your crawling through the pipes game. Have fun!
