1 – Warrior, Marauder

These classes are good for those who prefer to fight on the front line. They are both quite tanky and powerful. So, you will be able to deal with most of your enemies. Also, these classes are easy to play and allow you to take lots of hits.

2 – Gunbreaker

This is one of the most interesting classes in the game and it is quite unique. If you play this character you will be able to use a gunblade. This thing looks like a gun that has a blade instead of a barrel. So, the class deals a lot of damage and has an interesting style.

3 – Paladin, Gladiator

This is another couple of tanky classes that we highly recommend you use in your solo playthrough. They have lots of interesting skills that provide your character with great survivability.

4 – Red Mage

If you want to play a caster then we recommend you to try Red Mage. This is a hybrid character that uses rapier and magic. So, you will be able to use the features of warriors and sorcerers. However, this kind of character may be hard to handle.

5 – Rogue, Ninja

Here are a couple of classes that we recommend for those who want to be silent assassins. Both of these characters are squishy but their attacks deal tons of burst damage. So, Rogues and Ninjas are risky but rewarding!

There are lots of different classes that you can play in this game and we recommend you to use one of the classes we’ve mentioned for a solo playthrough. Good luck with your adventures in FFXIV!
