Does a Trainer Have a Wormadam In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information

In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, there are around 149 different Sinnoh Regional Pokemon that you need to, at least see, if you want the National Dex after finishing the main story game.

One of those Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex is Wormadam. While it isn’t impossible to get a Wormadam of your own to comeplete its entry in your Pokedex, there is a Wormadam trainer you can fight in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl which will have the Bug Pokemon officially registered in your Pokedex.

This is a big deal, as it’s a crucial step in acquiring the National Dex, and the NatDex is one of the most important items you need to unlock to complete and take part in a lot of the post-game activity.

Where is the Wormadam Trainer in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

To complete your Pokedex with every Sinnoh Regional Pokemon, it is best that you see a Wormadam through a battle, rather than getting a Wormadam of your own, as doing so is quite the painstaking task.

To find the Wormadam trainer, all you have to do is head to Route 214. You should be able to find the Wormadam trainer between Valor Lakefront and Veilstone City. The blonde Wormadam trainer can be found on the right side of an area with tall grass, holding a handbag.

Her Wormadam is the Bug/Grass variant, but that shouldn’t be an issue as seeing just one of the Wormadam variants is all you need to have Wormadam fully registered as ‘seen’ in your Pokedex!
