In Slay the Spire, players take control of one of the mysterious outcasts who are attempting to climb the eponymous Spire. The journey will be filled with deadly monsters, arduous tasks, evil machines, and more… will you be able to survive?

Slay the Spire is a deckbuilding roguelike. Players will start from floor one with a preset or customized deck, and battles play out in a turn-based fashion. The player and enemies take turns playing cards which enable them to attack, defend, heal, and more.

The core mechanics of Slay the Spire come to life when you are organizing your deck to take advantage of your character. Each playable character has their own strengths and weaknesses, and tailoring your deck to the character is the key to victory.

Naturally, being a roguelike, Slay the Spire does not pull any punches and it is very challenging right from the get-go. Nevertheless, defeat is part of the journey, and you will unlock more cards to experiment with for future runs.

The iOS version of Slay the Spire aims to be a 1:1 port of the console and PC versions of the game, with an recreated user interface to match touch screen devices.

Slay the Spire is available now on the App Store for 9.99 USD.
