Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl asks players before they start to play to choose their skin tone, gender, and add a name. Changing Outfits in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
When you begin the game, you start off with a default outfit for either Dawn or Lucas:
You can purchase and change your outfit whenever you like. To shop for an outfit or change your style, just travel to the south of the city, north of Route 214. Visit the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City, speak to the woman behind the counter, and select the option you want.

There are currently 10 outfits available, 9 of which can be purchased at the Metronome Shop. A special Platinum Style outfit is available for Dawn and Lucas as a Mystery Gift Bonus for players who pre-ordered the game, or who purchase it post-release until February 21st, 2022.
