In Touch Tap Play’s BitLife guide, we will explain in the full the steps to becoming the CEO of a company. You will have to work diligently and focus a lot of your time towards your company, so keep this in mind if you’re pursuing another major career in the same life. With that out of the way, let’s get started with our BitLife tips and cheats guide on how to become a CEO!

Be a Good Kid and Keep your Stats Up

The key to all big successful careers in BitLife is to have a good upbringing. This means that you should keep yourself healthy as a young adult, stay happy and productive, and most importantly be nice to your family and maintain good relationships.

If you have a good relationship with your family you can rely on them to support you throughout your college career, which is mandatory if you want to become a good business person.

If you don’t have a good family relationship by the time you graduate high/secondary school, you’ll be forced to apply for a loan which can hinder your progress.

Another thing to keep an eye on is your health. Your body needs to be in tip-top shape to undergo the amount of work you’ll be doing in the future, so better get ready!

Choose Financial Majors in University

Once you get to university, it’s time to hone in on your career. The key to becoming a CEO is to be financially literate – that means that you’ll have to be studying some kind of field that is related to finance.

Of our two successful CEO runs, we choose either Finance or Accounting as our dedicated major in university. You should choose either of these two if they show up, and if they don’t then just build up your smarts and try again later.

Accounting or Finance is not strictly required to become a CEO but it does improve your odds by a lot. You’ll need the skills in order to increase your chances of getting into Business School. Speaking of which…

Once you graduate from university, it’s time to pursue higher education. You’ll want to go to Business School right after you finish university. If you did well in university you should be able to apply for a scholarship. If not, you can always fall back on your family.

Choosing the Right Job

Now that you are armed with a full education, it’s time to enter the job market. The first kinds of jobs you’ll want to be on the lookout for are Jr. corporate positions. These are the kinds of jobs that will get you the experience you need for the higher positions.

Keep an eye out for jobs like Financial Advisor, Store Manager, Accountant, Business Analyst, among others. Basically, if the job title sounds like it has to do with finance and corporate offices, choose it.

Don’t try to go after any of the higher jobs like Vice President and stuff like that. These jobs require 10+ years of experience in the field, so you can come back for them later if you want.

During an interview, you’ll be asked a random question that is structured like a real life interview question. Try to respond to it as positive and neutral as possible while still making yourself look like a earnest, hard-working person.

With any luck, you’ll land the job, and now it’s time to go into overdrive and work like you’ve never worked before!

Dedicating your Life to the Job

Once you’ve landed the job, put all of your efforts into increasing your job performance. This means that you’ll need to dedicate more time to the job and prioritize it over other ventures.

The first thing you should do while you’re still young is to work harder. Go to the Job menu, then tap on your job, then tap on Work Harder. This will make your character put more effort into their job, which will increase their performance meter as indicated above.

You want your performance to be as high as possible. The higher is, the greater chance you’ll have of receiving a promotion. Raises are good, but promotions are what you need to get to CEO.

When your boss requests you to do overtime, it is important to always say yes, even if it’s unpaid. It stinks but hopefully you’ve worked enough to be able to continue with the money you’ve accumulated.

Take Care of your Health

In general, you should try to work more hours than what is expected of you. If you go to the “Adjust Hours” section of the job menu, you can see your expected hours and what you’re currently working.

If you work more hours than expected normally, your performance meter will rise faster, meaning quicker promotions. However, working more hours means more stress, so keep an eye on that meter as well.

If the stress meter is red, you will eventually be diagnosed with stress-related diseases such as high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a huge risk for older characters, and if you’re not careful you may pass due to a heart attack or stroke.

If your stress meter is high and you are diagnosed with high blood pressure, immediately lower your hours and take care of yourself. Go on a diet, go to the gym, read a book, whatever – if you die now, all of your progress will be for naught!

Work for Promotions and Become CEO!

Maintain a good life work balance and you should be getting more and more promotions. Eventually after a couple of promotions you will be promoted to CEO, where you will be making tons and tons of money. Go ahead and buy that shiny new car or house!

Alternatively, if it’s not working out at your current business, you can resign and apply for another company. You can try applying to those high-end jobs that require 10+ years of experience, and you may have better luck there. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to pull this off.

With any luck, you’ll become a CEO in your next BitLife. Just follow our guide and you should have a better shot at it. Just remember that everything in BitLife can be completely random, so if it doesn’t work out just start a new life and try again.

With that said, we hope you nail the first time around and become a CEO right off the bat. If you have any other tips or tricks to share with us about the path to becoming CEO, let us know in the comments below!
