Best New iPhone Games: Riptide GP: Renegade, Space Marshals 2 & More

I won’t lie by saying that the past few or even several weeks have been pretty dry in terms of really high quality game releases on the App Store, but this week things seem to have turned around and we have quite a few new great games to play. As always, we’re highlighting the best of the best and this week we have 4 new iPhone games I’m sure you will love. The good news is that two of them are free to play – while the ones that are not freemium deliver a huge bang for the buck.

So let’s not waste a single second and let’s check out the best new iPhone games this week: Space Marshals 2, Riptide GP: Renegade, Sacred Legends and Con Man: The Game.

Space Marshals 2

The sci-fi wild west adventure in outer space continues with Space Marshals 2. This tactical top-down shooter puts you in the shoes of specialist Burton in his struggle against the criminal elements of the galaxy. With an emphasis on tactical combat and stealth, this dual-stick shooter is a game you have to play – especially if you already played and enjoyed the first in the series.

Riptide GP: Renegade

You are a hydrojet rider, framed and cast out from the Riptide GP league, forced to race illegally through city waterways, flooded ruins, and churning factory machinery in an effort to reclaim your reputation and your title. Play through the single player career to unlock new vehicles, playable characters, and customization features as you take down bosses and build your crew. This is a game that I’ve been waiting for a long time and I am glad to finally see it released. It’s old school fun all the way!

Con Man: The Game

The game is loosely based on the popular TV show (that you must watch in case you’ve missed it until now) and does have some annoying freemium mechanics, but is good and enjoyable overall if you like the time management type of game and you don’t mind some alien fighting thrown in the mix every now and then. Enlist Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion and the cast of Con Man to help you create the biggest, brightest and bestest con ever: Shock-A-Con! All your favorite management tasks are there: Unclogging toilets! Emptying garbage cans! And more!
