How does the Friend feature work?
The friends feature works in a similar way to the one in Pokemon Go, where each player has a unique ID. This ID can be used to add more friends and send or receive gifts. Unlike in many other games, you can only add friends by using the ID – therefore, searching a player by name doesn’t work.

Each player can find their own The Witcher: Monster Slayer ID in the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap on the icon with three people you see there, and you’ll automatically open the Friend screen.
