It’s time to figure out how to get some greasy money (and liquor!), so let’s get started with our Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money tips and tricks guide!

1. Get the customer bonus items!

Every time you bring more customers to a business, the customer gauge fills up. Once the green bar fills up the way, the business will temporarily improve its money generating rate and most importantly you’ll get bonus items. You can get liquor, character cards, business cards, and more from these bonus items. You can get about three or four bonus items per business. If you fill up the customer gauge all the way and it doesn’t reset, that means you’ve gotten all possible bonus items from that business for that season. If you’ve reached the end of a season, be sure to exhaust all possible bonus items before you move onto the next season.

2. Save your liquor!

You can buy individual character and business cards in the shop. While the liquor required isn’t that much, it’s usually not worth it to buy these single cards, unless you just need that extra card to push you over into the upgrade threshold. It’s better to just save your liquor, because you usually get enough cards from the random trunks you earn by completing season tasks. You’re going to need a lot of liquor to in order to keep up with the upgrades.

3. Spend hash coins on liquor!

Ultimately this is up to you to decide in the end, but we recommend spending your hard-earned hash coins on liquor. Let’s compare the other options. So, you can buy the Legendary Trunk for 450 hash coins. This trunk contains up to 40 cards and 580 liquor, with a chance of getting super rare character and business cards. The gold trunk contains up to 28 cards and 260 liquor with a chance of rare cards. Now, compare these to the liquor prices. You can buy liquors in three different packs: 250 liquor for 50 hash coins, 1000 for 180 coins, and finally 3000 (!) for 500 coins. Like we mentioned above, so as long as you’re keeping up with the season tasks, you should be getting a steady supply of random cards, but not really enough liquor. In this instance you can get 3000 liquor for a little over what a legendary trunk would cost you. We think that’s worth it!

4. Upgrade characters first!

Renovating businesses will permanently increase the amount of money that particular business generates. Upgrading characters has a variety of effects, however. Certain characters will improve the cash generation of a business, while others will improve your attack power during the season finale fights. For characters that can be assigned to auto collect duties, they will be able to auto collect for multiple businesses. Because both upgrades costs a lot of liquor, you’ll need to spread some upgrades around. We argue that the characters are more important because of how versatile they are, so you should try to spend your liquor on them first.
