Match four or more candies to create line chocos!

Welcome to Sugar Blast! To pass the levels, you must complete the required objective. The main way you will be doing this is through choco blasts. When you match any colored candy in sums or four or more, you will create a line choco at the point where you tapped.

Line chocos can be tapped to detonate them, and they will blast all nearby candies in a horizontal line. The more candies you use to the create it, the bigger the line choco will be!

Create cross chocos to chase your objective!

If you have two line chocos within close proximity, they will merge together and create a super powerful cross choco! Cross chocos explode both horizontally and vertically, so you can use them to clear lots of space.

What is even better about cross chocos is that they have the ability to prioritize the level’s objectives. For example, if you need to clear a certain amount of green candies, chocos will seek out and match as many green candies as possible.

This works with any objective, including caramel pieces, ice blocks, cherries, and more! As you can see, cross chocos are incredibly helpful for reaching the level’s objective.

Join or create a team!

Teams become available to you after you hit player level 4. Teams are groups of other players, and the advantage of being a part of a team is that you are able to ask for extra lives from team members once a day.

As soon as you are able to, you should join a team right away. If you ever run out of lives, you can get them back pretty quickly if you have enough team members. Any team is fine, but a team with a lot of members is preferable.

You can also create your own if you like, but it costs 150 coins to do so. If you do create your own team, let us know the name of it in the comments below to have others join it!

Use your boosts in a pinch!

You have three boosts at your disposal that can be used any time during a level. The game does not really go over how they work, so we will explain it all for you here.

The first boost looks like a little candy guy in front of an explosion. Pick a location on the board, and the candy guy will jump onto the screen and instantly match all nearby candies in the spot you tapped. This is useful for when you need to match a specific candy or open up a pathway.

The second boost look like a candy guy bungee jumping with a red rope around him. Using this boost allows you to take a single, specific piece off the board, whether it be candy, an ice cube, caramel, and so forth. Using this boost on a choco will cause it to detonate.

The third boost is a red candy guy with a magician’s hat on. Using this boost will cause the entire board to shuffle, rearranging the candies and pieces within. If there are too many important pieces scattered all over the place, consider using this boost!

Know how to deal with each objective!

Each level requires you to match a specific candy or object, or deal with a special item in some way. Knowing how to deal with each one is important, so here are all of the objectives you will be dealing with.

Candy is the most straightforward and simple objective of them all. Simply match the required color, and you are golden! Use chocos to help you blast multiple candies in one turn.

Golden chocolate eggs require you to drop them to the bottom of the board to collect them. Use chocos to blast the way open for them.

Freezing cold ice blocks are no good for candy, so match some candy adjacent to them to defrost them. You can also use chocos to blast them!

Caramel functions like ice blocks, but you cannot get rid of them by simply matching. You must use choco blasts to get rid of them.

Fudge sticks in the background of certain levels, and to break it off you need to match candies that are nearby or use chocos to blast them.

Cherries are covered in cream and while they are delicious, you need to blast them! Break them apart by blasting them with a line or cross choco, then when they are separated blast them one more time to match them for good.

Keep an eye out for special events!

When you reach player level 4, you may have noticed several icons pop up on the main menu. These are usually indicators of special events, some of which cause special pieces to spawn during the level.

These events do not last too long, so try to participate in them while you can. For example, the current event that will go one for two more days spawns rainbow candies in the levels. If you collect them by matching normal candies around it, you can get some good at the end of the event.

Take your time, conserve your moves, and blast!

Don’t sweat it if you cannot beat a level on your first go. Lives refill pretty often, and if you join a team you can get them back even faster. Take your time – you do not have a time limit, only a move limit, so focus and try to make the most out of your moves!

Always try to go for big matches. In general, the more line and cross chocos you can make, the better. They will help you reach all of your objectives faster than normal.
