Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes Cheats: Tips & Strategy Guide

A new game in the Star Wars universe has been launched on the App Store, and this one is a real keeper – my favorite Star Wars themed mobile game so far! Titled Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, this RPG challenges you to collect heroes and test their skills into battles against the dark force (or light, later on) resulting in an amazing experience. But we’re not here to praise the game, we’re here to learn how to get better at it and in order to make that happen, I will share with you a bunch of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes cheats and tips for a complete strategy guide that’s mostly aimed at beginner players, but more advanced players might find it useful too, so it’s worth reading!

Let’s not waste any time and let’s check out below Touch, Tap, Play’s Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes tips and cheats to better your game and collect all heroes!

1. The order of attacking matters
The blue meter under the health bar of each character shows you how much there is until they attack: when it fills up, that particular character will attack. So it would be a perfect idea to build your strategy in the battles based on this information alone. Here is what you should do:

Each time a battle or new round begins, decide upon a target: usually, the enemy that will shoot last is the best target because you might be able to take them out before they manage to take an action and damage your heroes. This is usually the best approach, but strategies might vary. Either way, keep an eye on their meter and plan your moves accordingly.

2. Take out enemies one by one
It’s always better to kill one enemy instead of having four with red health. Therefore you should always focus on taking out enemies one by one to reduce the damage you receive. Ideally, you should take out the strongest one first, but if they have a ton of health and until you destroy them, the others would shoot multiple times, it’s usually better to take the weaker ones out first and then focus all firepower on the single enemy.

3. Know the skills of your heroes
Each hero that you unlock has different actions that they can perform when their turn comes (skills). In order to make the most out of each battle and to increase your chances to win each fight, you should know all the skills of your heroes, what they do and when to use them. Also consider the cool down timer required for the skill to activate again in order to fully plan your moves and use the perfect skill at the perfect time!

4. Fully equip characters and upgrade
As soon as you get the equipment required for a character, equip it! There are multiple items that you can equip, but once you fill all the spots, you can upgrade your character (they get the bonus from the equipped items and you can equip more). This greatly increases their stats and you should focus on upgrading/equipping your best characters first, then move on to the lower level/star rating ones. Also, you can tap an inventory slot on your character and then the “Find” icon: it will show you which mission you should complete in order to get that particular item. Complete it until you get it and keep upgrading!

5. Train your best characters first
There are a ton of characters that you can unlock in the game and the starting ones are not really the best. However, you need to keep training them constantly in order to be able to complete the new missions. This is why I would suggest you to upgrade your favorite/best characters first, and in case you unlock a new Hero in the meantime, they can easily replace one of the poorer ones. This way, you don’t lose a lot of training stones to level up characters you don’t really need.

6. How to get more characters in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
The more active you are, the better your chances to get more Heroes in the game. Play missions, then replay missions on Hard mode in order to get Character shards which can be, later on, exchanged for unlocking new characters or evolving the ones you already have. Get data cards (there are some you get for free too) in order to increase your chances of getting more characters or shards and complete in all the special events in order to get them. I know that you would love to have as many as possible, but remember that there’s no rush: just be active, play a lot and you will soon have a ton of heroes!

This would be all for now in terms of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes tips and tricks. We’re working on an advanced players’ guide with tips to creating awesome squads and improving your game even more, so stay tuned! 1. I have had a red 3 over characters for a while now but there is no one to train and no gear to upgrade. No character to add a star to. Any ideas?
