Replay the same mission until you ace it
I really think that the best way to get the three stars (and then the box of Scooby snacks) is by playing the same mission over and over again until you get everything done right.
This goes especially for the hidden object scenes where the items will always be in the same spots. This further means that by replaying over and over again, you will remember their location and you’ll have no problem easily finding them and completing all the requirements.
Follow this strategy and you’ll get all stars in all missions easily! But remember that you only need to do this for getting the Scooby snacks and if you’re a perfectionist: new cases unlock even if you don’t have 3 stars on all stages, as long as you complete them!
No need to meet all the requirements in one run
In most cases, getting the 3 stars of a mission in one run is pretty difficult to accomplish. But fortunately you don’t have to do that. You can focus on a requirement for a star on each run and make sure that you get it. This means that you will play the same mission over and over multiple times, but at least it’s fun!
Pay attention to costumes
Costumes can be purchased with Scooby Snacks and, even though expensive, they can offer you some nice bonuses, like extra time in a mission, extra hints and so on.
For this reason alone, it’s worth saving up on your Snacks and spend them on costumes. Make sure you only get the Golden costumes, because these are the ones that influence your stats. The other are only for looks and you don’t need that – you need actual help in the game!
So make sure that you never waste your Scooby Snacks. Try to never spend them on getting extra hints in the game and complete the missions with the free hints you have: you will start with two for free anyway and the number will only get higher from here on.

But how do you not use them? I didnt try to pick any up or use them but i dont see how not to …i feel like my flashlight has to be off or something…
