After the last major update on the 18th, a few Pokémon Unite players noticed a strange occurrence in the event menu: there was an event titled “OpsEvent_Activity_Title_64_002,” which looked like a placeholder name from the game’s coding. All the objectives in the event also had placeholder names. Today, we’ll explain Pokémon Unite’s OpsEvent_Activity_Title_64_002 bug!
What was the OpsEvent_Activity_Title_64_002 bug?
To commemorate with the update patch, a new set of limited time event missions were released. The actual name of the event is “Event Mission Round 1,” and these missions run from August 17th to September 1st. These missions were designed to give players a new things to work towards, with fun rewards like new clothing items waiting for them.
Unfortunately, something went wrong when the patch launched and instead of its actual name, the game referred to the event as its placeholder name. With enough experimenting and testing, players were still able to make out what you needed to do for the missions to get the rewards.
- Participate in 1 battle as a supporter: yellow striped socks
- Become the MVP 1 time: 30 Aeos Tickets
- Score a total of 100 points: yellow shirt and sweater
- KO a total of 10 opposing Pokémon: gray checkered pants
- Pick up 100 energy off the ground: brown loafers
Thankfully, as of writing this article, it looks like TiMi Studios noticed the bug and fixed it accordingly. The event mission’s regular name is now showing up, and there are no more weird placeholder names.
Now that you know what the objectives really are, be sure to complete the missions before September 1st to claim all the new clothing rewards!
