There’s not many games like Offroad Outlaws, so if you’re looking for the coolest offroading experience, you’ve come to the right place! Let’s get you out there with our Offroad Outlaws cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Go for the Trails!

If you tap the little map icon at the top left, you’ll bring up an overhead view of the map you’re currently in. If you look closely you can see little green and red dots scattered about the map. The green dots are “Challenge Trail” markers. These trails are mini races that set a bunch of posts around a trail for you to follow.

To complete the trail, you’ll need to drive through all of the posts and reach the flare at the end. Completing a trail will net you a base amount of cash, but if you can beat the specified times, you’ll earn bonus cash!

There’s no limit to the amount of times you can try a trail, so keep practicing until you know a trail by heart. That’s the best way to reach those number 1 times, and you’ll be racking in the dough once you do so!

Buy either a Quad or Truck and upgrade one!

Upon starting Offroad Outlaws for the first time, you’ll be immediately granted enough cash to buy both a Truck and a Quad. The truck is the most balanced out of all the vehicles, while the Quad is a little more speedy but has less control.

The game will suggest that you buy both, but you can actually decide on one and spend the rest of the money on upgrades for it. This will give you a big boost starting out, so choose wisely! Ultimately it’s up to you which route you go, but give it some thought!

Experiment with the different drive states!

At the top left corner of the screen next to the map button, you’ll see three different buttons that alter how your vehicle drives. Utilizing these changes are the key to getting through the bumpy wilderness.

  • The first button shifts between high and low gear. High gear gives you more power and speed while low gear give you better traction and control.
  • The button with the four wheels controls “differential lock”. You can prevent your front or rear wheels from spinning at different speeds, which is useful for keeping your vehicle balanced while lowering your maximum speed.
  • The button with green wheels shifts between FWD, RWD, and 4WD. Front Wheel Drive shifts all of your power to the nose of your vehicle, which is good for balanced driving. Rear Wheel Drive has the power come from the rear of your car, which is gives it more power for climbing, offroading, and more. 4WD is a nice balance between both modes.

This is, of course, just a small briefing on the different drive states but the game is much more complex than this. We’re not car experts though, so you’ll need to experiment…

Experiment with the Drivetrain!

… with the Drivetrain! The “Power” category allows you to boost your vehicle’s stats through simple straight upgrades, but the Drivetrain category is a whole different beast.

In here, you’ll be able to fine tune the smallest details of your vehicle allowing it to excel at specific things. For example, you can tune shocks and wheels allowing you to handle difficult terrain with ease. You’ll need to play around with settings to find your best car!

That’s all for Offroad Outlaws. If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!

    • Low gear 4.0 stiffness for back 4k front 10k travel all the way up. Fat tires. Front trophy rear crawler. Learn gears as much as possible. But that’s a basic set up so you can crawl anywhere.

  1. For the best Jeep set up upgrade the the travel all the way then move the stiffness down until you get the height you want and bring the dampening up a lot so that you don’t do wheelies when you take iff

  2. This is mainly for Logan who asked about money, yeah you can find boxes for money but if you have internet you can do this go to the game, press play, press multiplayer, and go to custom maps, search a map by the name “money” and the one that has the most ratings go to it, and play the race that’s there, that’s how I get fast and easy money. But you only get $2,000 and only 50 gold per race. Hope this helps you all.

  3. This comment is not going to help anyone out but I think off-road outlaws needs ATC’s (three wheeler’s)(atc-all terrein cycles). plz add them

    • You can tap the arrow on the side of the screen to bring the option bar out and it has the sfx volume bar so all that’s left to do is drag the bar to your preferred volume and you are ready to play the game in peace

  4. How do you completely start over the game, or if you can’t do that, then how do you get enough gold or coins to get a vehicle to keep playing the game because I have no vehicle and I don’t have enough coins to buy another one

  5. In the Dealership, the ‘member only vehicles’ have a timer for like 5 days or something. Does your app need to be open for it to count down?

    • If you have not bought a winch you have to buy one in the upgrades section it’s the last one on the body section. After you did that when you’re in the game right above the gas pedal there is a button that looks like a winch tap on that and you will be able to attach to a tree or tap land anchor and tap where you want it.
