Genshin Impact’s Lantern Rite festival event is divided into three stages, the first stage is called “We’ve Only Just Begun”, the second stage is called “Guests Flock From Afar”, and the third and final stage of the event is called “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns”. At the time of writing, we are at the first stage of the event and to get to the next stage we need festive fever.

To get festive fever in Genshin Impact, players must complete the requests(world quests) which come under the Lantern Rite Tales section of the event. In the first stage of the Lantern Rite festival, there are nine requests under Lantern Rite Tales. Each quest grants around 100 Festive Fever, while one grants 200.

Once players have completed all nine requests under Lantern Rite Tales, they will have around 1000 Festive fever. And, once the stage two of the Lantern Rite event begins, players can do the same thing to get festive fever, i.e completing requests from Lantern Rite Tales.
