It’s time to climb some hills again! Hill Climb Racing 2 is the long-awaited sequel to one of the most silliest physics based driving game ever. There are tons of new tracks for you to climb in this sequel. Of course, expect a lot of them to be really hilly! You’ll be going up against people from all over the world, so make sure your vehicle is tuned for some hill climbing! All you need now are a couple tips and tricks, so let’s get started with our Hill Climb Racing 2 cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Perfect Start!
Keep an eye on your RPM at the beginning of the race. The longer you hold down the gas, the higher it’ll be. You’ll see a little green zone if you look closely. You want to try to keep the needle in the green zone. You can do this by holding down gas at the start, then letting go when it gets past the green zone. As the needle drops, tap the gas lightly to keep it jumping into the green zone. If you can manage a perfect start, your car will start off much faster than usual. This trick is key to getting a good head start!
2. Stay grounded!
As fun as it is pretending to be a plane as you soar through the skies with your jeep, it’s actually better to stay on the ground as much as possible. You get air time bonus points but we’re not even really sure what that’s for. You lose a lot of speed when you’re hanging in the air, so try not to go over ramps too fast.
Sometimes when you’re going over little hump’n’bumps or hills, your jeep might start to tip over backwards. When this happens, let go of the gas and hit the brakes. Depending on how hard you hit the brakes, your front end might slam straight into the ground or you’ll gently ease yourself back down.
3. Keep upgrading your jeep!
You may be tempted to save your coins to upgrade the better jeeps, but don’t! You should start upgrading your starting jeep right away. Your opponents will begin to outspeed you if you don’t, and this happens the second you get into Bronze II. All of the upgrades are equally important, so make sure to improve all categories. Keep an eye out – sometimes you’ll have the opportunity to get a free upgrade in exchange for watching an advertisement. If you see one of the buttons below the upgrades turn yellow, then it’s your chance! This is incredibly helpful later on when the upgrades start to get really expensive.
4. Stick the landing!
In the cases where you will be forced to spend a lot of time in the air – such as during the appropriately named Big Air Cup – make sure that you stick the landing! As we mentioned in the above tips, hitting the brakes will make your front end rotate back down. This goes opposite ways too – if you hit the gas and let go of the brakes, your rear end will come down. Use this to position yourself for a smooth landing. Make sure to keep an eye on the terrain below you, as a wipe out could mean the end of the race for you!

Huge HCR 1 & 2 fan here. U could be wrong but I think you may have got it backwards, as far as which to use when your vehicle starts tilting one way – if your front starts to dip, you’d hit the brake; if your rear starts to dip (so your front end is pointing up (, you’d hit the gas). Gosh now I feel like i have to play it just to be sure I’m describing it correctly.
