EVE Echoes: How to Get More Blueprints

In EVE Echoes you will be able to gather various Blueprints which will let you build ships. This means that they are a very important type of resource in the game. Blueprints can be obtained in various ways, but most commonly from the Market as it’s super easy to buy them from other players.

But since there are multiple ways for you to get Blueprints – some of them more exciting than just purchasing from the market, we’re going to list all the ways that you have on hand in today’s guide on how to get more Blueprints in EVE Echoes.

First, you should make sure that you check out our game guide where you can learn all of our EVE Echoes tips and tricks about the game! Next, read on to focus entirely on today’s topic: Blueprints.

EVE Echoes – What are Blueprints (BP)?

Blueprints are items which will allow you to build various ships or rigs which can be used to upgrade your already existing ships. You will be able to collect them in various ways, and in order to manufacture a Blueprint, you will need to have all of the materials required for it (ores and generally various resources and ship parts).

For an extra helping hand, here is our mining guide to help you set out the mining gear and start collecting materials!

EVE Echoes – Where to get Blueprints?

Blueprints can be obtained in a couple of ways as far as I know, so let me tell you what I know right here below:

1. Buy Blueprints in the Market

This is the easiest way to obtain Blueprints, as long as you have ISK to use. To buy Blueprints in the Market you will need to head on to the Menu -> Market -> scroll down until you see Ship Blueprints and Rig Blueprints and select which one you want. They usually cost a lot less than buying the completed item, but depending on the resources they require, you might have to farm quite a bit in order to manufacture them.

2. You can get Blueprints from Anomalies

Anomalies are certain encounters which will appear randomly, and when you complete them they might have a chance to give you some loot, among which there can be Blueprints. Some of these can be Inquisitor anomalies, which are pretty rare, and they will have some lootable debris in one of the rooms once you’ve killed all the rats.

The debris can contain BPs, so try to keep an eye out for these. Basically there are different difficulties of combat anomalies, so if you manage to find and battle them, there will be plenty of resources for you to gather.

If you need some help with the in-game combat system, we have a guide ready for you here.

3. Check the better Trade Hubs in the game

There are a few main Trade Hubs where you can find some more interesting and slightly better stuff. The stations which you should check out should be:

Jita (it is the main Trade Hub, it could potentially crash your device if it’s super populated and yeah, I know, that’s a bummer)

Amarr (it is another Trade Hub, it is not as busy as Jita, but it’s located closer to nullsec)

5ZXX-K (here you can find rare faction Frigate ships and Cruiser BPs – Garmur and Orthrus BPs can be found here)

Matar (it can be useful in finding some stuff, as it doesn’t have a ton of people)

5ZXX-K is one of the best in my opinion, as it has system bonuses to planetary interaction and better ore fields than Jita or Amarr. As for Trading Hub, the unique BP for Orthrus Cruiser can let you acquire one of the strongest Cruisers in game.

EVE Echoes – Where to find the Blueprints you bought in Market?

If you bought the desired Blueprint in the Market, and are having a small issue finding it in your Inventory, then let me give you a hand as this is a small issue and there is no reason to panic!

Once you purchased a BP in the Market, all that you need to do is head on to the Inventory and there you will see in the left side of the screen, on the bottom, a button called Personal Assets. When you head on there you can check all of the options and once you found the item which you wanted (the Blueprint) you can tap on it and then tap on the Use Blueprint option.

That will let you use the Manufacture option, and you can read all of the items necessary to crafting said item!

Manufacturing ships and rigs will require various items, so if you are looking for some specific minerals, make sure that you take a look at our Minerals location and guide where we are telling you all that you need to know about it!

Also, if you are not sure what ships you should go for, you can take a look at our list of the best ships in EVE Echoes! Since all of them will require quite a lot of items, you can buy some of the materials which are harder to find in the Market – if you don’t know how to do that, check out our guide on how to sell / buy in the Market!
