In today’s article, we will learn everything there is to be known about the Passholder season, including the answer to the burning question: is it worth paying for the Passholder Gold?

Without further ado, let’s dive straight into this and learn how to get even more from the game with the Passholder Season!

What is the Passholder Season in Disney Sorcerer’s Arena?

A “season” in the game lasts more than a month, giving you the chance to earn season points or experience, go up the tiers and earn awesome rewards based on your performance.

You will gain most of your points from completing various in-game quests which range in difficulty but usually are something like “perform x attacks of a specific type with a specific character”.

In other words, it’s a nice way from the developers to reward you for being really active in the game and playing each day. Unfortunately, those who have the basic/free Passholder season will receive a lot fewer rewards than those who have Passholder Gold.

What are the Passholder Season rewards?

At the moment of writing this article, the rewards for going up the tiers in the Free season are not insanely impressive: for Tier 2, you receive 1 Ian token, at Tier 3 you get 1 more, at Tier 4 you get one Manticore token, 2,500 potions at level 5 and nothing at level 6.

The Gold rewards are much more impressive: you earn everything in the free Tier, but also awesome extra goodies like 10 Ian tokens at Tier 3, followed by 15 Diamonds at Tier 4, 10 More Ian tokens at Tier 5 and so on.

In other words, if you pay the price for the Gold ticket, you will earn a ton more tokens and resources.

Should you get the Passholder Gold in the game?

Even if you choose to pay for the Gold Passholder ticket and upgrade your season rewards, you are not guaranteed to get a ton of rewards in return. You have to be very active in the game and complete the quests in order to get the most for your money.

So if you are just a casual player, spending a few minutes every day in the game, it might not be worth it: you won’t go up the tiers a lot and you won’t earn too much for your real life money.

On the other hand, if you are really active and play the game regularly, you can definitely reap on the benefits here: unlocking the Gold rewards in the Passholder season also unlocks additional quests that you can complete.

These Premium quests will give you more experience, allowing you to go up the tiers even faster. But even so, you will still have to be very active in the game in order to get to tier 15 and above (it goes all the way to level 50!)

So there is no general answer for all regarding the usefulness of the Gold Passholder Season upgrade: it all depends on how active you are in the game and how dedicated you are to performing as well as possible in Disney Sorcerer’s Arena.

If you want to do your best and get the most out of the game the fastest, and you have the money to spare, you can definitely invest in it.

But remember that, at the same time, for the same amount of money you can buy one of the Bundles and special offers in the game and instantly receive a character, upgrade tokens and a lot of resources which will have a more immediate effect on the game and your overall power.

Now back to you – have you upgraded to the Passholder Gold rewards in the game? If you did, let us know what you think about it: is it worth it or not?

  1. Honestly if you play a lot you finish it in a week. I’ve played many game with a season pass and this ones the worst and shortest. You get a characters or when you finish no bonus tries .
