Critical Ops is an intense first-person shooter that will put you right in a modern terrorist encounter. Taking heavy inspiration from the hit shooter Counter-Strike, Critical Ops is a faithful mobile spin on the tactical shooter. Your reflexes and strategies will be put to the ultimate test, so let’s read up on some tips in our Critical Ops cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Critical Ops is an intense game so make sure your alert and ready to go before you head into a match. Don’t sweat it though, as no matter the outcomes of your matches it’s always fast-paced fun. Practice always help, so let’s get started with our Critical Ops tips and tricks guide.
1. Complete the daily missions!
During a game, take a quick peek at the pause menu. On the right hand side you’ll see a list of missions for you. They’re usually requests like kill a certain amount of players using this gun or make a specific number of headshots.
If you manage to complete a mission you’ll be rewarded with a small amount of credits that can be put towards your next case!
2. Shoot before you aim!
The way aiming works in this game is somewhat tricky. When you’re navigating a map, be alert. The very second you see someone, immediately tap the shoot button and drag it to aim as fast and accurate as you can.
Do not aim first and then start shooting – more often than not you will end up dead if you do this. We found that we won most of our fights using this small tip. Of course, if you’re quick enough, you can try aiming before hand and then shooting.
This works best with automatic weapons like SMGs and assault rifles, but keep in mind that as long as you’re holding down the fire button you will continue to shoot. If you’re using a pistol or shotgun, you’ll miss your first shot usually but keep the button held down. The only exception to this rule are sniper rifles.
3. Find your favorite weapon!
There are five kinds of guns to pick from and the key to success is finding the right weapon for you!
- Pistols are the jack-of-all-trades gun. Pistols are always handy and useful no matter how long or short your range is. They don’t do that much damage and you’ll need to aim well, but with minimal recoil and high accuracy they’re always a good pick.
- Submachine Guns are best suited for mid-range encounters. With an extremely high rate of fire, these guns can take out enemies very quickly, provided you’re at the right distance. Try to shoot anything farther than mid-range and your bullets will start to spread wildly.
- Assault Rifles are the bigger versions of submachine guns. Their rate of fire is pretty high as well, but with more stability they can tackle long-range enemies. Some of them are even equipped with burst fire, requiring a little more accuracy and finesse.
- Shotguns are incredibly deadly at short range. Even with a scatter shot, most targets will go down in one shot if you’re close enough. That’s part of the problem though – you’ll need thorough memorization of the maps if you want to make full use of the shotgun. You’ll be easily picked off on maps with long open corridors like Canals. Find nooks and crannies to ambush your enemies.
- Sniper Rifles are extremely accurate and deadly. If you’ve got the aiming skills you can take out just about anyone at any range. Headshots are always a guaranteed kill, but even torso shots are capable of killing.
4. Study the maps!
When it comes down to it, no matter how quick your reflexes are, map awareness is the most important quality to have. Obviously this is going to take some time, but as you play matches be sure to pay attention to how the maps are laid out.
Take note of all the places where people can hide and ambush you, the open wide areas, the closed spaces, and so forth. Knowing exactly where to go to suit the gun you currently have equipped is the best way to tackle your opponents.
That would be for now our Critical Ops tips and tricks. If you have any other tips or tricks to share – and we’re sure you do as this is a super competitive multiplayer shooter – leave a comment below!
i am a boss at playing critical ops and i would lke to recommend the URatio with the duel mtx
I agree. The stort range of the dualies compensate for The long range of the Uratio.
If your aim is pro level it may be time you switch from dual MTX to something more damaging like the P250. Though the MTX is great for rapid fire and quick close-ranged damage, it is low damage and can run out of ammo quickly, the P250 is great for both and has higher damage counters along with good fire rate.
Yeah. but GSR1911 is better for far and short ranges its a 1 hit guaranteed of killing for the head and 3-4 for torso. also its cheaper that the dual iirc.
i am pro at playing critical ops as I refer the same thing but rather than using the dual mtx I would refer u people to use the second pistol which has a silencer.
If your aim sucks:
Camp with shotgun and dual mtx or xd
If you have okay aim:
Use M14 for sniper, ak or sg for normal guns.
Pistol use dual
If your aim is op:
Uratio, ak(one shot kill or headshot)
Close range ak is good uratio no scope hard
Pistol use revolver
Use patanjali weapons for better results
Lol TF
Yup…. Patanjali weapons are the OP
I agree, but when you use your sniper… be sure to corner yourself. Other players can come up behind you, so corner yourself and watch the radar map at the corner of your screen. But move around so you don’t get kicked for being idle too long.
-Use AK as a rifle for faster kill
-U Ratio for 1 shot kill from long range
-MR96 Revolver for long-range if you are using a smg or assault, it’ll act as a hand canon… one shot death!!!
i hv been playing the game since beta so i think im a little gd. Anyways the best loadout now is gsr with ak or gsr and uratio nothing else
i would go with m4 with the gsr
im new but i have been getting good kds now with the sg(last AR weapon $3800 cost) and dualies. i would recommend this for new people that dont have too good aim. uratio should be used with gsr or your location would be discovered by others and you would lose the power of surprise. i prefer sg to ak because i reckon im better with it. revolver should be used with guns with low damage because it compensates or shotguns because your opponents will be on low health after being hit by shotguns and revolver can finish them off while taking minimal damage. dualies go well with any gun
