1. Always start with a running boost
Usually, the first part of each level is a straight line and you will get an early on advantage by tapping the screen constantly to use your super speed. It might be just a second or two, but it all matters in the end!

2. Use the running boost whenever possible
Actually, you should use the boost whenever you see a straight line ahead or when you believe that you can handle the runner and run around the obstacles without dying. The more you use the boost, the better your chances to get to the Glade in time and get some really valuable extra coins to spend on power-ups.

3. Try to pick the clocks
While you run, you will see some clocks / stopwatches along the way. Try to pick them up as they are extremely important, giving you valuable seconds before the doors close completely. And if we’re at it, it wouldn’t hurt if you also picked up all the free Gems too.

4. Always use the free revive
It’s free. Why not use it? Make sure you do every time you have it, but also make sure that you keep your character alive for as long as possible. The stages get more and more difficult and you don’t want to spend your valuable diamonds on revives!

5. Get Free Gems
I call them diamonds, the game calls them Gems. Either way, you can get the premium currency in The Maze Runner for free by tapping The Box in the game menu and selecting the option to watch ads for free gems. Also, when at The Box, you can collect your daily gifts offered for consecutive daily plays, another great way to earn some extra free gems.

6. What power-ups to purchase
There are a bunch of upgrades that you can get, but I would suggest to start with the Time boost, followed by the Stamina Boost and finally the Sprint Boost. The longer your boost lasts and the more time you have, the better for you.

7. Always look for clues
Even if you can’t get them in one run, it’s good to know where they are. Always be on the lookout for clues and run over and over again until you have collected them all. Learn where the stopwatches are as well as free Gems and get a perfect run in the end that gives you a ton of coins to spend on upgrades or unlocking new characters.
