Patchmania is a rather forgiving game, since you can spend as much time on a level as you want without wasting a life, so we’re here with some general tips. Let’s get started with our Patchmania cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
1. Don’t waste a life!
As long as you don’t leave the level once you start it or commit to a route that doesn’t get you all the crops, then you will never have to worry about using up a life. If you set up path that doesn’t end up working, just tap back to reset you route. Just be careful – if you end up connecting the path to the rabbit hole, the rabbit you’re controlling will automatically start walking down the path. Don’t commit to a path until you plan a route that gets all the crops!
2. Take your time!
There are no time limits, no score criteria, nothing that should give you an incentive to rush. It’s just you, the bunnies, and the crops, and you want to make sure to eat all of them to get 3 stars! Take your time, plan out your route, and if it doesn’t work, try another route! The beauty of this game is that you can take as long as you want and back up your steps as much as you want, so don’t ever feel like you’re rushed.
3. You can start a route from any direction!
Keep in mind that a bunny’s route can start from any patch of crops. It is only until you actually hit your first crop that your next move must be another crop, so if you’re having trouble making one route work, try approaching the crops from a different angle, literally! Experimenting is the name of the game here.
4. Be extra careful with the mushrooms!
Starting with the barn levels, the game will introduce mushrooms. These regular ol’ shrooms are normally white, but they can be included in any bunny’s path, which will then make the mushroom match the bunny’s color. Be careful that you don’t use too many of them with one bunny, as you also need to clear all of them out in order to get 3 stars. If you use too many for one bunny, another bunny might not be able to eat all their crops.
5. Use your hints wisely!
You get three hints at the beginning of the game. Using a hint will automatically draw out a part of the correct path for you. Use these whenever you’re stumped, but be careful – those first three hints are the only ones you’ll ever get. Afterwards, you need to pay real money to buy more hints.
