Following the update, the Gameloft game is going to be compatible with the Apple Watch, allowing players to receive notifications on their watches, sign up for in-game events, change class selection, change and customize weapons and more. The Apple Watch support additions don’t really change the way the game is played but they’re definitely welcome for those purchasing the new device from Apple.

Another Modern Combat 5: Blackout update has been made available back in September. The update added Metal support for iOS 8 which made the game look quite a bit better on more modern devices such as iPhone 5S, iPad Air, iPad Mini Retina and iPhone 6/6+ with explosion being bigger and better looking, environment more detailed, weather effects improved and much more. No gameplay change was included in this update.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout is now available for purchase on the App Store. The new update adding Apple Watch support is also available for download right now so make sure to get it as soon as possible if you want to test out the new Apple Watch features.
